Hamburger Rolls

Get ready to entice your tastebuds with these fabulous and extremely tasty stuffed rolls. My mom got introduced to these rolls in California in 1991 when she went on a temple trip. She made them several times growing up and has become an all time favorite dinner idea!

Hamburger Rolls

15-20 hard rolls (can be purchased at any grocery store)
1 pound lean hamburger
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Preheat oven to 350. Cook and drain hamburger meat of grease. Set aside. In medium bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, onion, 3/4 c. of the cheese, and onion powder. Stir and add hamburger meat to mixture and mix well. On two baking sheets, cut a hole on the top of each roll and remove inside. Keep the top of each roll so you can replace it after each roll is stuffed. Make sure it's large enough to put hamburger mixture inside. Stuff each roll with mixture and then put a dollop of cheese (with the remaining 1/4 cup) on top before replacing with top of roll. Continue this process until all rolls have been stuffed. Wrap each roll in tin foil and bake for about 15-20 min. or until rolls are crisp and cheese is melted. Serve while warm.
